Primary Care

NOVUS Health is committed to ensuring we optimize health outcomes. We are dedicated to excellence in clinical care through routine health screenings and management of both acute and chronic illnesses. We are available for timely, quality, accessible, and patient-centered care. Your wellness is our top priority.

Prevention is an important part of all our primary care services. At NOVUS Health, we partner with you to take control of your health and well-being through services such as blood pressure screenings, vaccines, immunizations, HIV and STI screenings, and mental health screenings.

Specialty Care

Novus Health offers specialty HIV care within a primary care setting. Our team has extensive experience and specialized expertise in HIV care, offering a compassionate, person-centered approach. Integrating HIV specialty care into primary care allows Novus Health to build lasting relationships, foster trust, and support positive health outcomes for people living with HIV.

Through our partnership with Williams & Associates, HIV case management is provided onsite at NOVUS Health. Ryan White Medical Case Management is provided based on income levels and provides timely and coordinated access to medically-appropriate levels of health and support services. 

Women’s Wellness

NOVUS Health women’s wellness focuses on life satisfaction in relation to physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, economic, occupational, and environmental dimensions. Women’s wellness at NOVUS Health looks at certain aspects and disruptions that alter a woman’s quality of life, such as reproductive and hormonal issues, bone health, gastrointestinal stress, and urinary incontinence. Together with your provider we maintain a holistic approach to your health and well-being.

Gender-Affirming Care

Gender-affirming care, as defined by the World Health Organization, encompasses a range of social, psychological, behavioral, and medical interventions “designed to support and affirm an individual’s gender identity” when it conflicts with the gender they were assigned at birth. The interventions help transgender people align various aspects of their lives — emotional, interpersonal, and biological — with their gender identity. As noted by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), that identity can run anywhere along a continuum that includes man, woman, a combination of those, neither of those, and fluid.

The interventions fall along a continuum as well, from counseling to changes in social expression to medications (such as hormone therapy). NOVUS Health is committed to supporting each person’s journey. While NOVUS does not currently provide surgical services in this area, hormone therapy, general wellness and counseling services and resource referrals are provided as a part of our ongoing continuum of care services.

Behavioral Health

Behavioral health relates to the connection between your behavior and the health of your mind, body, and spirit. It is the way your habits affect your mental and physical health and wellness.

NOVUS Health provides service opportunities to individuals through:

Psychiatric Care

Psychiatric assessments are available through telehealth or in-person with our psychiatric nurse practitioner.
