PrEP Q&A with Alexis Anderson, Nurse Practitioner

The City of St. Louis Department of Health is hosting its 4th annual PrEP Week, a citywide call to action for all St. Louisans to learn about and access HIV PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). This highly effective medication reduces the risk of HIV transmission through sex by up to 99% when taken as prescribed. PrEP remains a cornerstone of efforts to end the HIV epidemic in Missouri.
